Dear students,
Unfortunately, the only way we can measure your learning outcomes and achievements is by giving you tests. Here is a list of the exams you're going to take plus how much each test/assignment weighs.

Orientation Day
Dear students,
I hope you're having a wonderful break so far. Yesterday reminded me of how much I missed being a university student and for a while it felt like I was again. The four years I spent being a student at the Arab Open University were some of the happiest years of my life. I guess what I'm trying to say is: enjoy being a student as much as you can. Make new friends, hang out together, experience new things, and laugh hysterically...
Live your life not in another moment but this moment... (:
Did you join any clubs?

The birds are twittering!
Dear students,
Since social media networks have taken a big part of our daily lives, I decided to start a new Twitter account so we can communicate in an easy and modern way. This can also help integrating new and fun methods into your learning routine. Feel free to follow, retweet and share your opinions and questions :)

More Educational YouTube Videos!
Seriously, YouTube must be one of the most addictive websites on the internet! You just can not resist the temptation on clicking on the next video on the sidebar and, before you know it, it's 2 in the morning and you're late for bed xD. Anyway, since we can't do anything about that (obviously), why not make good use of our time and learn something new? Here is a collection of YouTube videos that will help you learn and review grammar.
Parts of Speech
Common Prepositions
Past Continuous Tense
A very useful lesson on pronouns
Don't hesitate to subscribe to those channels and watch as many videos as you can!

Learn Smart (parts of speech)
I honestly do not know what makes must of students think that they have to lock themselves up in a room and burry themselves in books for long nights of exhaustion and frustration in order to learn something. This is completely false!
Learning can be fun. Actually, learning IS fun. You just have to find the way that is most effective for you and which you can easily include in your daily routine. It can be as simple as listening to the radio on your way to work/university, or reading this paragraph for example (did you learn any new words?)
Anyway, here's a more tangible example if you love listening to good tunes while driving like I do. It's a song about parts of speech which are very important and useful to learn for your course.
You know what they say: "Prioritise the fun, and the learning will come" ;)
